Traditional tutoring often falls short because it only focuses on the curriculum. Jayson Brun, B. Ed., bridges this gap by addressing the underlying executive functioning difficulties that lead to frustration, task avoidance, and behavioural challenges during the school day.

We support students with ADHD & Autism, including those without a formal diagnosis who struggle with attention and focus. We help increase their academic stamina when facing challenges or feeling overwhelmed.

We encourage and support students through academic challenges by helping them manage their feelings and build perseverance. We also help students further develop their sensory awareness so they can recognize when a loud or busy classroom environment is affecting their focus.

We use the following frameworks to help students:

EMOTIONAL REGULATION 

Learning to recognize triggers and proactively apply calming strategies.

IMPULSIVITY CONTROL

Resisting immediate urges, pausing before acting, and adjusting behaviour in real time.

STRATEGIC BREAKS

Integrating movement and sensory breaks to reset before returning to the task at hand.

We help students identify and understand "social rules" and expectations through guided practice. 

This helps them navigate the classroom by learning about different perspectives and understanding how their actions affect their teacher, their peers, and the class as a whole.

We also help students learn how to listen, respond, and engage in meaningful interactions with their classmates.
