IN-HOME NUMERACY FOUNDATIONS

Our approach is designed specifically to reduce cognitive overload and build confidence for students who learn differently. We focus on practical, visual strategies that make numbers manageable. Instead of losing track while counting objects one by one, we teach our students to instantly recognize small groups of numbers visually.  

 We show students how to break larger numbers into smaller, manageable parts.

We anchor addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in concrete, everyday situations so they make more sense to students.

We explicitly break down multi-step tasks into clear, logical pieces so students can focus on one small step at a time without getting lost in the process.

 We teach students how to collect, organize, and interpret data from the world around them, making math relevant to their daily lives.

   We use 3D models and digital tools to help students visualize geometric relationships and understand measurement concepts.
