Description:

We are looking for experienced in-home tutors who can integrate Social-Emotional and Executive Functioning support with “grade-appropriate“ Literacy and Numeracy curriculum, to help students build academic confidence, resilience, and success.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Structured Literacy & Numeracy 
• OCT designation in Primary/Junior divisions
• Special Education Additional Qualifications
  

Experience and Responsibilities:

• Previous experience within an Ontario public school board in Special Education in executive functioning and Tier 3 academic support.
• Deliver customized learning strategies for every session.
•  Maintain professional standards consistent with Ontario pedagogical frameworks for students with learning and/or developmental exceptionalities.
• Experience with alternative programming (self-regulation, social-emotional development, and behaviour) as identified in the Individual Education Plan.

Other Prerequisites:

• Level 3 Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance Letter completed within the past three months.
• Must be able to travel to students’ home and have a reliable vehicle.
